Her academic journey spans multiple countries and cultures: she earned a Ph.D. in Materials Science from Universitat Jaume I in Spain, a master's degree in chemistry from UNAM in Mexico, and a B.S. in Radiochemistry from the University of Havana in Cuba. This international background has enriched her scientific perspective and strengthened her adaptability, communication, and cross-cultural collaboration skills. Throughout her career, Marise has cultivated strong analytical thinking, leadership, and a deep passion for mentoring and collaborative problem-solving in both physics and chemistry. Personal Summary: I usually like to drive and play my favorite music, mostly rock and roll from the ’80s and ’90s (both English and Spanish bands). I love to spend time with my friends and family.
